We’re promoting this Saturday 5 October as ‘Vote Day’ – a reminder to get your voting papers into the post, or drop them into a council ballot box, so they reach us by the closing date.

You can post your papers at any post box, or drop them into a Council ballot box during opening hours at:

  • Council offices, Rolleston
  • Darfield library
  • Leeston library
  • Lincoln library
  • Rolleston library
  • Lincoln Event Centre
  • Selwyn Aquatic Centre
  • West Melton Community and Recreation Centre

On Vote Day, Saturday, we’ll also have ballot boxes at:

  • Lincoln Farmers’ and Craft Market, 10am–1pm
  • Rolleston New World, 10am–4pm Plus Sunday 6 Oct: Prebbleton Market, 12–4pm

If you haven’t received your voting papers, or need to apply for  a special vote, contact the Council on 347 2800 or email  electoral.officer@selwyn.govt.nz. For more details on the elections, including special voting and candidate information, visit  our elections page.
