Public ‘Meet the Candidate’ meetings are expected to be held in a number of locations across the district during the election period.

These meetings are not organised by the Council. They are generally organised by local community groups.
Anyone organising public meetings, which are open to all candidates, can send the event
details to Council and we will endeavour to list these in Council Call and on our website.
Upcoming meet the candidate meetings are being held at
these locations:

Ellesmere Ward:
Leeston Community Room, 11 Messines Road, Wednesday September 18, 7pm

Selwyn Central Ward:
Rolleston Community Centre, Monday 23 September, 7pm

West Melton Community & Recreation Centre, Wednesday 25 September, 7pm
