Shands Road Roundabout Construction

As we head into the warmer months, works are being done around our roading network.
Thank you for your patience as our Network Management team works hard to coordinate all the different projects.

In the past week we have completed the majority of the Shands Road/Hamptons Road roundabout, the Trices Road/Tosswill Road roundabout has also been completed and work is progressing well on the Shands Road/Trents Road roundabout.

With the traffic flows returning to their usual routes, the temporary signage in place at the Springs Road/Boundary Road intersection will be removed.

For updates on all our major roading projects, as well as information on upcoming roadworks on:

  • The Charing Cross intersection: Monday 9 September to Friday 4 October
  • Waimakariri Gorge Road: Monday 16 September to Friday 20 November
  • Orion substation work on Telegraph Road near Norwood Sunday: 15 September to 1 October
