A new community space is under construction in West Melton, to complete the West Melton Community Park.

Construction on the park began with the skate area which was built in 2021. A new barbecue area, playground and half-court basketball court is under construction, due to be completed in mid-May, weather depending.

The area next to the West Melton Community and Recreation Centre and the West Melton Domain will also have additional seating, landscaping and planting.

A further public toilet and car parking will be built in the coming months.
