The trial 87 Southbridge – City Metro service is in need of more love if the service trial is to continue.

The bus service is available for anyone wanting to travel from Southbridge to the City, stopping at key locations between Southbridge and the City.

Environment Canterbury has funded the trial to continue until June, when the service will be reviewed. However, it has advised that the service needs more passengers and regular use if it is to continue beyond June.

The bus runs Monday to Friday for residents to commute to the city from Leeston, Doyleston, Irwell and Springston. You can find out more at metroinfo.co.nz/timetables/87-southbridge-city/
