Tile with images of experts spreaking at men's health eventMovember is here, and you are invited to a special event dedicated to discussing men's health. Men's Health Mo-Ment is happening on Tuesday 21 November 7–9pm at Te Ara Ātea. This is an opportunity to engage in conversations about various aspects of men's health — from the importance of getting ‘those’ checks to mental health, wellbeing, the future and more.

Hosted by Councillor Phil Dean, you will hear from expert speakers including Dr. Chris Wynne, Chief Scientific Officer at New Zealand Clinical Research and Mel Johns, Mental Health and Wellbeing Consultant. Simon, a head and neck cancer survivor will share the ups and downs of his cancer journey and what helped him through.

This event aims to raise awareness about the importance of proactive health measures and foster open discussions around men's health.

Proudly brought to you by Council, Cancer Society, Prostate Cancer Foundation NZ and the Mental Health Resource and Education Centre. Information stalls will also be available from a range of organisations supporting men throughout Selwyn. This provides an excellent opportunity to connect with others in the community and share insights on prioritising men's health.

You can enjoy complimentary refreshments from 8.30pm onwards at this free event. To secure your spot bookings are required.
