Dog registrations are due and 80% of dog owners in Selwyn have made the most of the discounted registration fee this year.

From 1 August onwards owners have to pay the full fee and they have until 31 August to register their dog. After that the Council
may issue an infringement of $300 per dog.

Any owner who is having difficulty with the payment of the fee can contact the Council to discuss payment arrangements.

With the new One Tag in place, this year should be easier than ever for owners to complete their dog registration. Simply come
in to one of our library and service centres or the Rolleston offices, or pay online through your Dogs Online account or via
the Council’s website at selwyn.govt.nz/dogregistration.
